Back when I had baby #1, I registered for and received the Mockingbird single to double stroller. I loved that since we planned on adding to our family it had the ability to add a seat, and all the available accessories seemed perfect. Fast forward to three months in with baby #2 and I found myself increasingly frustrated with it. It worked great as a single stroller but as a double I wasn’t a fan. It was bulky and took up the entire trunk of my SUV. It was heavy to fold and unfold, and when walking with it I felt like I was maneuvering a tractor trailer. Overall this stroller just didn’t seem to be a good fit for us. I ended up selling this stroller and replaced it with the Zoe Twin Double stroller and I am obsessed! Keep reading for an overview of this great stroller option!

What I Love

  • The Zoe twin is a side by side design instead of the tandem (seats in front of each other) design. This feels so much easier to maneuver and walk with.
  • The Zoe is lightweight and compact. It weighs about 22lbs vs. the Mockingbird weighing in at 35lbs, and at 29 inches wide it fits through a standard doorway.
  • It is compatible with infant car seats if you purchase the adapters, making it usable right from birth. Zoe sunshades are SO big, which makes my kiddos much more pleasant to walk with.
  • This stroller also came with cupholders for each kid and shared snack cup, along with an optional belly- bar. It even included a parent cupholder. All of these accessories must be purchased separately with Mockingbird.
  • The Zoe also has two small Velcro storage pockets on the back of the reclining seats.

What I Would Change

Honestly, I wouldn’t change much about this stroller. I wish it came with a storage bag for use when flying, but one can be purchased separately from the website. Otherwise, this stroller has been such a gamechanger for us and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lightweight and easy to travel double stroller option.
