With so many baby monitors on the market, it is one of the more overwhelming decisions you have to make as you prepare for your little one. Do your research on a variety of monitors and weigh the pros and cons of them all. Consider what features you definitely do not want on your baby monitor. Also think about what features are important to you and which ones are just a nice added bonus.

VAVA 720P 5" HD Video Baby Monitor
The Vava 720P Video Baby Monitor is a great choice for a baby monitor if you are looking for something simple but reliable and high quality. This monitor has minimal buttons and is easy to use, so grandparents or babysitters should have no problem when watching your little one.
This monitor does not have Wifi capabilities, which can be either a pro or con, depending on what you are looking for. No wifi means the system cannot be hacked, however no wifi also means you cannot check in on your little one when you are away from home. It offers multiple camera connections, two-way talk, zoom, and more! This baby monitor system also comes in four colors to choose from, including white, blue, pink and green. Color options are not available everywhere.
I find the battery life of the monitor to be much better than any other brand I have used. You have the option to keep the screen on and watch the live video of your little one, or you can turn the screen off and just have the audio on. This is a perfect option if you don’t want the screen on at night, as even on the lowest setting, it is pretty bright.
Because this system does not use Wifi, it is very easy to travel with. Simply plug the camera in, turn it on, and you are good to go! Depending where you are planning on setting up the camera, you may need to purchase a wall or crib mount, which are both sold separately.
