- Abbey Resort: Located right on Lake Geneva in Wisconsin, this all-inclusive resort is a little bit of luxury in the Midwest. The views of the lake are stunning, and there are plenty of water and hiking activities in the area. The resort itself has a variety of room sizes, plus three restaurants, a spa and salon, multiple pools, an arcade, a cafe, a bar, a theater room, and lots of guest activities. The website boasts a number of specials that can keep the costs at a low while maximizing the fun!
- Swiftie Airbnb: Ever since the iconic Eras Tour, Taylor Swift-themed Airbnbs have popped up across the country! This one in Owensboro, Kentucky looks like a normal house on the outside, but inside it’s a Swiftie heaven! Owensboro is close to the city of Evansville, Indiana and Holiday World, an award-winning amusement park with incredible cost-saving perks! Other Taylor-esque rentals include two in Arizona and one in Nashville, Tennessee.
- Tybee Island: If you want an ocean view, check out Tybee Island, Georgia. This town outside of Savannah is picture perfect but much less crowded than more well-known places like Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head. There’s ice cream parlors, antique shops, water sports, and miles of sandy beach. There are plenty of rentals to choose from. And with Savannah so close, you can always pop into the city for trendier restaurants, nightlife, museums, and the best of southern culture.
- South Haven: If you want a beach but don’t live by a coast, consider staying at one of the cute towns along the coasts of the Great Lakes. In particular, South Haven, Michigan is an amazing spot for tourists. It’s a quintessential small town with candy shops and souvenir stores, but the breathtaking views and amazing beaches make it a perfect vacation destination!
- Forks: If you’re on the western side of the country, this one is for you! Visit Forks, Washington, the rainiest town in the contiguous U.S.! It might sound like a weird place to visit, and maybe it is, but for all of the millennial moms out there who geeked out about the Twilight franchise back in the day, this town is incredibly cool! If you don’t mind the rain, there are tons of cool things to see, such as bioluminescent beaches, waterfalls, and tribal areas. Of course, plan to visit during the Twilight Festival!
