There are hundreds, probably thousands, of items marketed to moms as must haves on Amazon. Influencers on social media are always telling you that you need one thing or another. What I’ve got here are just 3 things that recently I feel I couldn’t imagine not having.

These Bags

I cannot even begin to tell you how many uses there are for these bags. They’re described as mesh but they are fully sealed- the mesh is enclosed in a plastic type material. It comes with several different sizes and I use them for everything! We keep lego sets in them, our oversized memory card game, construction paper for crafts, other art supplies etc. I always have one in my diaper bag full of snacks to keep them easy to grab. They’re a great deal and I cannot recommend them enough.

Pouch Toppers

Perhaps you’ve seen these and know how great they are. Or perhaps you have a little one who loves yogurt or applesauce pouches but also can’t quite resist squeezing them and making a giant mess everywhere. Enter the pouch topper. It sits atop the pouch and lets them get out whatever they’re eating but doesn’t allow for everything to come squirting out when they squeeze it. They’re not super cheap at $16 for 4 but really that’s probably all you’d need since they’re washable- I run mine through the dishwasher for easy cleaning! They’ve saved my carpet and sanity more than once.

Drawing Tablet

This was such a great find! We aim to be screen free when we’re out at restaurants or waiting at an appointment or something. So I’m always looking for something easy and fun to throw in the diaper bag that will keep my little ones entertained while they wait for lunch or for me to be finished at the dentist. These are a great deal, take up hardly any space and are entertaining for several different ages.

These may not be groundbreaking items but they simplify some areas of life that can otherwise be pain points. And as a busy mom I am always looking for any ways that I can simplify. I hope these can be as helpful to you as they’ve been to me.
