We will be expecting baby number two at the very beginning of June. This has me doing a lot of reorganizing and thinking about ways to streamline our life- including our current diaper bag. If you are like me and need a summer diaper bag overhaul, look no further. Follow along for a simple but perfect summer diaper bag list full of all the essentials for summer fun.

Empty out that diaper bag so you can start fresh! I recently upgraded to the Lululemon Parent Backpack and have been loving it.

• Diapers and wipes: hopefully this one is a no brainer. Load up a few diapers in each size you need and a big stock of wipes.
• SPF: a sunny day at the playground means the need for lots of SPF. I’ve been LOVING these smaller powder SPF options. Portable and no mess.

• Change of clothes and jackets: summer days can mean messy popsicles, lots of outdoor time and dirt so toss in an extra change of clothes for each kid, along with a sweatshirt or light jacket for when the sun goes down.
• Hand sanitizer: outdoor time usually means dirty hands in our house so make sure to include some hand sanitizer for before snacks.
• Water bottles: Hydration is so important during warmer days. I love these personalized options so it’s clear which cup belongs to each kid.

• Snacks: I usually don’t pack a ton of snacks, but its always good to have a few that won’t melt in hotter weather. Goldfish, freeze dried fruit or applesauce pouches are all good options.
• Hats or sunglasses: Baby G loathes the sun in her eyes so we make sure that every diaper bag has a hat or sunglasses. I love the hats below with built in SPF AND string to tie to make sure it stays on.
