Some of the most important items to pack for your hospital bag are comfy pajamas for you and your baby, along with a supportive nursing bra and honestly some comfy undies too. I have four precious babies and it was a treat to pick out a new set of pajamas, gowns, or robes for each delivery. Having something new to wear helped me both look and feel my best post-delivery. Here are my top picks for some cute and comfy pajamas, nursing bras, and undie options!
Also here’s a photo of me in the pajamas I swear by (details below) with my newest addition in his monogrammed Caden Lane blanket!! He is about to be 5 months, but I still remember how comfy we both were!!
1. I love everything from Aerie and their new line of nursing bras is amazing! This nursing bra is buttery soft and provides lots of support for those early days.
2. Nursing bras don’t have to be ugly and this adorable bra is proof and point! I love that this one is still beautiful and comfy enough to sleep in.
1. When it comes to picking out pajamas for my hospital stay I always wanted something that offered easy access and kept me cool. This button-up pajama set is perfect to easily nurse and gets softer with each wash! I also love that they offer a navy blue or a blush pink pair so you can coordinate with the baby. There is also a gown option if you prefer those.
2. These shelf bra gowns are my favorite! I usually layered a nursing bra underneath in the early days, but eventually, I could just sleep in these given it had a built-in bra for support. Here is one from Target, but I do think many other stores carry them.
Wearing a robe while in the hospital or even those first few weeks with a newborn always helped me feel more put together when welcoming visitors. I seriously love all the beautiful matching and/or coordinating robes that Caden Lane offers. These robes are so soft and the variety offered means there is truly something for everyone regardless of your style.
These undies are essential! Seriously, while you might be wearing some mesh ones in those first days you will be so thankful when you can finally pull on a pair of soft high-waisted panties. This takes the phrase, “Put your big girl panties on” to a whole new level, but you’ll thank me!!
For a more shaping panty, I loved this pair. It is nice to have something pulling you in as your tummy muscles are going back to normal.
Hopefully, these options will help you fill your hospital bag with essentials that will help you feel and look your best! Post-delivery it is so important to focus on the recovery of yourself and getting to bond with your little one so having quick choices that are both comfy and reliable is key! Enjoy the snuggles!
