I’ve already been getting text messages from family asking what my kiddos are wishing for this Christmas! I love these messages because I love intentional gifts and I also love gift guides because they truly help me gather thoughts on what my kids play with and learn from throughout the year.

Here are my top picks for a 1-2 year old little boy!

Workbench for Your Little Handy Man

My little guy is closer to 2 these days so I see this as a great gift that he will really grow into. I know this gift says 3+, but that is really for the smaller pieces so I plan to gift him this and just withhold the smaller pieces until he is closer to 3. I definitely think a smaller version like this would be great for a newer 1 year old and honestly this could be for Boy or Girl.

Play Ball!

My little guy loves anything he can throw! I’m working hard to keep that excitement channeled toward appropriate toys to throw. This gift would be a winner for any little boy (or even girl) who loves to stay active! I think the large size of these sport sets just make them that much more fun for littles and their parents. Truthfully these may be easier for their developing motor skills too!

I also love that these can be used outdoors and will engage not only my almost 2 year old, but his siblings and Dad as well!

Ride On!

My little guy loves to scoot around inside and out on some kind of riding toy. I love this little scooting bike for a 1-2 year old and love this Strider bike that can really grow with a 2-3 year old. My little guy is currently using his sister’s pink bike, but she doesn’t love sharing it so I’m hoping to ask family to gift him one of his very own.

Pajama Party!

Slow mornings with my little guy are some of my favorite moments. I am planning to gift him a pair of these buttery soft, Caden Lane, bamboo pajamas because he is currently obsessed with tractors.

All Better Book!

Books make the best gifts! I repeat if you have someone you just can’t think of what to get…the answer is a BOOK! For my little guy I’m asking for interactive books and this “All Better” Book is such a hit in our family that our current copy is missing all the fun reusable bandages!

I want to ask for a new one from a family member because these books are the most fun for bedtime and any time in between.

For a stocking stuffer, I plan to buy one of these adorable snack cups from Caden Lane and fill it with my little guys favorite go to snack like Pirate’s Booty so he can snack away on Christmas morning.

I hope this list of items that I am planning to get for my own little guy will inspire others looking for gifts for their own special little guy or gal!
