Easter symbolizes Hope and New Beginnings to our family and I love celebrating this Holiday with a yummy family brunch! Here are are few recommendations I have to create a baby and kid-friendly brunch.

First, grab some cute decorations! With a baby around we can’t have too many decorations, but having a cute bunny garland hang near my fireplace makes things feel festive! This cute one from Etsy below is so similar to the one I grabbed from the Target Dollar Spot a few years ago!

Once you’ve gotten some cute decor out! It’s time to “HOP” into some comfy bunny jams! These Caden Lane Bunny and Jelly Bean Jammies are just perfect for Easter Morning!

Mama’s and Daddy’s you’ve still got time to snag these cute jammies for your little ones and matching ones for you as well! I love how buttery soft these are and seriously they are so thick!! We have been gifted other “bamboo” jammies and they are not nearly as thick as the Caden Lane jammies!

These would make the cutest Easter Basket stuffer too!

Next, it’s time to whip up some yummy pancakes and get the kids involved! I love letting my girls help measure the flour, crack eggs, and even the littlest can peel bananas for these special Banana Pancakes! I also love throwing some bacon in the oven to bake for a perfect side item!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed

Directions

Combine flour, white sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Mix together egg, milk, vegetable oil, and bananas in a second bowl. I always make sure my bananas are pretty ripe!

Next, stir flour mixture into banana mixture; batter will be slightly lumpy.

Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.

Cook until pancakes are golden brown, 3 to 5 minutes per side. Serve hot. I love serving these with Maple Syrup, blueberries, strawberries, and whipped cream too! Grab these cute Pancake molds for some added Easter fun!

Enjoy!

For a fun activity on Easter Morning try Cosmic Kids Yoga’s Peter Cottontail and the Tickly Monkeys!

My girls recently did this on a Saturday morning and I was able to drink my coffee while it was still Hot!! This is huge and I have a whole post devoted to how cute it is, but here’s a sneak peak!

Easter Morning around our house can be a bit busy getting the kids ready and out the door for Church, but I love the idea of families doing this special Brunch whenever works for them! Another fun activity to end the Brunch could be an indoor or outdoor depending on weather Easter Egg hunt.

I am grabbing these personalized bags for my kids because they are the cutest for Egg Hunts at home, school, church, or anywhere!

Wishing everyone a HOPPY Easter Brunch filled with lots of snuggles from your little bunnies!
