Becoming a mom is filled with just as many “firsts” as there are for your little one! Here are some motherhood milestones worth celebrating and savoring!
First Outing with Your Baby
The amount of preparation it took to venture out with my newborn was no joke. Pat yourself on the back for crossing this one off your list, mom!
I was surprised at how long it took my body to recover from pregnancy and birth. This milestone may look like fitting back into your pre-pregnancy jeans. In my case, this milestone meant accepting my body has changed, donating my old jeans and buying some new ones that fit and made me feel good!
First Date Night
Make it a point to hire a sitter for a relaxed night out. Enjoy a hot meal and some adult conversation (even though our first date night involved a lot of conversation about our baby)!
First All Night Sleep
You are probably counting down for this one! The morning you rush into the nursery to see if something is wrong because there is just no possible way your baby slept that one is equally terrifying and exciting. This milestone is a huge one, way to go!
First Night Away from Baby
Leaving your whole heart with someone else an entire night may initially fill you with dread, but it does get easier! Enjoy a night of sleep and some time away, mama!
Perhaps your workout routine looked a little bit different during pregnancy. The first workout without a belly is pretty darn exciting!
First Day of Daycare
Leaving your little one at daycare for the first time is hard, but you may find getting back to work helps you feel more yourself. The first day is always the toughest, and you are doing great!
