Summer days are full of fun but sometimes they can get a little too toasty! Here are a few easy refreshing snacks for busy moms to make during hot summer days.
1. Fruit Kabobs

All you need for this quick refreshing snack are skewers and your choice of fruit. Some of my kids’ favorite fruits for kabobs are bananas, strawberries, and pineapples. Simply slice up your assortment of fruit then slide the slices onto skewers.
2. Frozen Applesauce Bites
Cool off with this easy and tasty snack! Purchase a variety of flavored applesauce pouches. Get out a cookie sheet and line it with parchment paper. Then squeeze bite-size drops onto the parchment paper. Put the cookie sheet in the freezer for a couple of hours. Then remove the applesauce bites from the parchment paper. Put them in a bowl and eat up!
3. Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles

Popsicles are a classic summer snack for cooling off on hot summer days. Making homemade ones can be a healthier alternative to some of the store-bought options. These popsicles are about as simple and quick as it gets. Add some vanilla yogurt and slices of strawberry into popsicle molds. Then freeze for a few hours and they are ready to go!
4. Kid-friendly Summer Charcuterie Board

This snack option will keep your kids from constantly asking for a snack every five minutes. Charcuterie boards allow your kids to constantly graze throughout the day. For this summer charcuterie board, you will need some fruit (Strawberries, blueberries, and clementine slices ). The veggies consist of baby carrots and celery sticks. Then add some pretzels and salami. Arrange all the snacks on a serving board and enjoy!
Hopefully these summer snacks make your summer more enjoyable and add some yumminess to it!
